Leveraging Python for both extraction logic and test coverage, the work focused on robust URL matching and reliable retrieval of video metadata such as title, uploader, and video file. The implementation included standardizing URL formats by removing redundant prefixes, which reduced edge-case failures and improved maintainability. Emphasizing API integration and web scraping techniques, the contribution expanded source coverage and laid a foundation for future enhancements, prioritizing code clarity and business value through broader, more reliable content access.
