Worked on the equinor/energyvision repository to refactor and consolidate the Fact component, creating a new FactCore structure that streamlines code organization and maintainability. This effort involved unifying the Fact.tsx file, removing outdated component files, and updating dependencies and imports to reflect the new architecture. By focusing on component refactoring and code organization using React, Next.js, and TypeScript, the work reduced duplication and clarified module boundaries. The changes established a scalable foundation for future enhancements in the Fact module, enabling faster and safer feature delivery while simplifying ongoing maintenance and supporting clearer ownership within the codebase for future development.
