During June 2025, Colorman focused on enhancing the Shopify/nixpkgs repository by upgrading the yafc-ce package from version 2.11.1 to 2.13.0, addressing compatibility with the latest Nix build systems. Colorman introduced a new project file to support internationalization generation, streamlining i18n workflows within the packaging process. The work also included refining the root directory lookup to better align with Nix’s build requirements, which improved build reliability and packaging consistency across environments. Utilizing skills in build systems, package management, and the Nix language, Colorman delivered a targeted feature upgrade with careful attention to cross-environment build correctness and maintainability.
