Worked on the FZJ-IEK3-VSA/FINE repository to address a bug affecting the accuracy of legend titles in Jupyter Notebooks. Delivered a targeted fix that synchronizes the legend display with the notebook’s actual execution state by updating the execution_count within the notebook’s JSON structure. This approach improved the reliability of user interface feedback and reduced potential confusion for users. The work involved careful debugging, precise JSON manipulation, and a focus on minimizing risk by limiting changes to the necessary scope. Utilized Python and Jupyter Notebook skills to ensure the notebook’s legend accurately reflects the current execution status after each run.
