Worked on stabilizing the quotation-saving workflow in the medhatelmasry/GoodBooks repository, focusing on backend development and error handling using C#. Addressed a NullReference exception that occurred during quotation saves by strengthening ModelState validation and implementing safer redirect logic. Enhanced the system’s logging to provide clearer reporting of both successful and failed save attempts, which improved observability and facilitated faster debugging. The work emphasized robust API integration and defensive programming practices, ensuring that invalid input was handled gracefully and that users were reliably redirected to the quotations list. These changes contributed to a more resilient and maintainable backend service.
