Worked on improving tooltip reliability in the primefaces/primeng repository by refining the logic for tooltip attachment in front-end components. Addressed a bug where tooltips were incorrectly attached to non-PrimeNG elements by updating the detection mechanism to check if a node name starts with 'P-' rather than simply including 'P-'. This change enhanced UI consistency across dashboards and applications, ensuring tooltips only appear on intended PrimeNG components. The solution was implemented using TypeScript and focused on maintainable component development practices. Clear commit messaging and adherence to project standards reduced the risk of future regressions and supported ongoing codebase quality.
