Developed and integrated an Instruction Decode Engine with UOP handling and PC propagation, while enhancing the front-end pipeline through improved fetch, decode readiness signaling, and branch prediction. Refactored the branch predictor for greater robustness and strengthened build and linking stability to ensure reproducible builds. Updated memory and testbench components to support ongoing simulation and performance exploration. The work leveraged SystemVerilog, C++, and Makefile, demonstrating depth in processor architecture, pipeline design, and hardware-software integration for scalable CPU development.
