Worked on enhancing the Metrolist Android application by implementing Traditional Chinese localization, focusing on improving accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Utilized XML and Weblate to deliver near-complete translation coverage, updating 823 out of 825 UI strings and adding translations for two new strings. The changes were committed directly to the Metrolist repository, with documentation and traceability ensured through Weblate’s workflow and a dedicated translation URL. This effort strengthened the localization pipeline, laying groundwork for future updates and supporting broader market adoption. The work demonstrated proficiency in Android development, localization processes, and translation management within a collaborative, version-controlled environment.
