Developed and delivered a new hardware SKU for the SmartSwitch Mellanox-SN4280-O4X96 within the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository, focusing on expanding hardware support and streamlining provisioning workflows. The work involved creating and integrating configuration files using JSON and Jinja templating, ensuring the new SKU could be reliably deployed with minimal manual intervention. By enhancing the configuration management process, the developer reduced the risk of configuration drift and improved the efficiency of the build pipeline. This contribution aligned with the ongoing hardware support roadmap, providing broader coverage for Mellanox SN4280 devices and supporting faster, more reliable deployment in production environments.
