Worked on expanding Malayalam language support for the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository, focusing on localization improvements for both Jellyfin Android and Android TV applications. Utilized Weblate to manage and streamline the translation workflow, increasing Malayalam translation coverage from 38.4% to 50.4% by updating 67 additional strings in XML format. The approach emphasized internationalization best practices and commit traceability, ensuring that future contributions to localization would be more efficient. No major bugs were reported during this period, reflecting a stable integration process. The work contributed to reducing the localization backlog and enhancing accessibility for Malayalam-speaking users across platforms.
