Worked on the frappe/hrms repository to enhance the reliability and user experience of the HRMS module by addressing a critical issue with the HRMS Link component. Focused on frontend development using Vue, the work involved resolving a bug where link values were reset during search operations, which previously risked data loss when handling both object and string inputs. Improved input handling and state management ensured data integrity and a consistent user experience. Additionally, optimized the search query logic to prevent unnecessary reloads when the search text was empty but a model value existed, resulting in better performance and responsiveness.
