Addressed UI fragility by refactoring the component to remove its dependency on jQuery, simplifying the underlying JavaScript logic and resolving minor interface issues. This targeted maintenance improved both performance and maintainability, ensuring more reliable rendering of collapsible elements. Automated pre-commit CI fixes and thorough code reviews were integrated into the workflow, aligning with established team standards. The work leveraged JavaScript and front end development skills, with attention to UI/UX design principles, and contributed to future-proofing the codebase for ongoing development and iteration.
