Worked on the ruby/typeprof repository to enhance the TypeProf CLI by implementing a new --init option that automatically generates a default configuration file, typeprof.conf.jsonc, during initialization. This feature streamlines the onboarding process by providing essential defaults such as version and RBS directory, allowing new users to begin with a ready-to-edit baseline configuration. The approach focused on reducing setup friction and improving configuration management for CLI users. The work leveraged Ruby for CLI development and utilized JSON for configuration file structure, demonstrating attention to usability and maintainability in developer tooling. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
