Worked on the box/box-ui-elements repository to deliver a privacy-aware collaborator visibility feature, enabling customizable control over which collaborators are shown in the UI. The solution introduced a new API parameter in JavaScript, allowing downstream React components to respect hidden collaborator settings when fetching data. This approach reinforced data exposure controls, reducing the risk of unintended disclosure in enterprise environments. The implementation was concise, delivered in a single commit, and included unit testing to ensure reliability. Collaboration with automation tools was leveraged to streamline integration, aligning the work with governance and compliance requirements for enterprise deployments while maintaining minimal integration overhead.
