Worked on the GetDKAN/cmsds-open-data-components repository, focusing on enhancing user interface clarity within data tables. Delivered a feature that updated the cursor style for table headers, changing it from a pointer to the default cursor to accurately reflect non-interactive elements. This adjustment, implemented using CSS and SCSS, aligned the visual cues with actual component behavior, reducing user confusion and supporting consistent design-system standards. The work emphasized front end development best practices by ensuring UI elements communicate their functionality clearly. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and foundational improvements for future UI consistency.
