Worked on the GetDKAN/dkan repository to enhance the ddev-init script by setting the default Drupal version to 10.5, supporting more flexible version constraints and aligning with the latest Drupal release cadence. Improved version validation logic provided clearer error messages and reduced misconfigurations during local development setup. Focused on streamlining developer onboarding and increasing stability for local environments, the work leveraged Shell scripting and Markdown for both automation and documentation. The approach emphasized DevOps best practices, ensuring that future updates to Drupal versions could be managed more efficiently while minimizing friction for contributors setting up their development environments.
