Worked on the confluentinc/ccloud-sdk-go-v2 repository to enhance client authentication security in the Go SDK by implementing certificate revocation list (CRL) validation for mutual TLS (mTLS). Developed a new boolean field within the certificate authority models to require CRL checks on client certificates, integrating this feature through dedicated getter and setter methods. This addition enforces revocation checks during API interactions, strengthening the security posture of backend systems. The work focused on backend development and API design using Go, addressing the need for robust certificate management and ensuring that only valid client certificates are accepted during secure communications.
