Leveraged Markdown to create user guidance and updated the README for improved onboarding. Addressed a robustness issue in the validate_gitlab_instance_host function by adding Python unit tests to handle scenarios where the course object is None, thereby increasing test coverage and aligning code style with project conventions. Focused on maintainability and continuous integration stability, the work demonstrated proficiency in Python, SQLAlchemy, and testing practices, resulting in improved documentation-driven workflows and more reliable application behavior.
