Worked on the uc-cdis/gen3-helm repository to expand deployment flexibility and improve secret management for cloud infrastructure. Focused on enabling deployments outside of EKS by modifying Helm templates to conditionally inject AWS credentials as environment variables and manage secrets securely. Used YAML extensively to define and update Helm chart configurations, ensuring that manifestservice deployments could support hybrid cloud scenarios. In addition, maintained deployment compatibility by bumping the ManifestService Helm chart version, aligning with updated metadata for stable rollouts. The work emphasized careful environment-based configuration, release traceability, and deployment stability, demonstrating a methodical approach to DevOps and Helm-driven workflows.
