Aldekoaluna delivered Spanish localization and UI accessibility enhancements for the Kareadita/Kavita repository, focusing on translating UI strings, error messages, and settings related to reading profiles and PDF reader options. Using JSON and front end development skills, Aldekoaluna integrated a Weblate-driven translation workflow to streamline updates and ensure consistency across the interface. The work improved accessibility for Spanish-speaking users and laid a foundation for broader internationalization by establishing reusable localization patterns. Although the contribution was limited to one feature over a month, it addressed key internationalization needs and reduced support friction without introducing or resolving any reported bugs.
