In June 2025, TG Kenney developed a reading progress synchronization feature for the Kareadita/Kavita repository, enabling seamless cross-device progress tracking between Koreader and Kavita. Kenney designed and implemented new API endpoints for authentication and progress updates, using C# to create robust backend logic and data structures that manage synchronization state. The work included comprehensive unit testing to ensure reliability and maintainability. By focusing on modular API development, Kenney laid the foundation for future enhancements to the integration, addressing the need for consistent user experience across platforms and improving the codebase’s extensibility for ongoing backend development efforts.

June 2025: Deliverable focused on Reading Progress Synchronization with Kavita for Koreader in Kareadita/Kavita. Implemented the end-to-end sync flow, including new endpoints for authentication and progress updates, along with data structures to manage synchronization state. This work enables cross-device reading progress continuity and expands the Koreader-Kavita integration, laying groundwork for future enhancements and improved user engagement.
