Developed a governance-focused feature for the localstack/moto repository, enabling the Resource Groups Tagging API to filter ECS Task Definitions by tags. Leveraging Python for backend development, the implementation iterated through ECS task definitions, applied tag-based filters, and integrated comprehensive test coverage to verify accurate retrieval. This addition improved resource discovery and policy enforcement for AWS ECS resources, supporting automation and compliance workflows. The work emphasized robust API development and AWS resource management, with testing practices that reduce regression risk and enhance CI reliability. No major bugs were reported during the period, reflecting a focused and well-tested engineering approach.
