Worked on the penpot/penpot repository to deliver comprehensive French localization for the Penpot frontend, achieving coverage of nearly 97 percent of all interface strings. Focused on front end development and translation management, the work involved integrating translations through Weblate and updating translation metadata to ensure traceability and maintainability. By leveraging JavaScript and established localization workflows, the developer enhanced accessibility for Francophone users and streamlined future translation updates. The approach emphasized explicit metadata and commit tracking, supporting both technical transparency and collaborative contribution. This effort expanded Penpot’s internationalization, making the platform more accessible and adaptable for French-speaking teams and organizations.
