Worked on the etalab/admin_api_entreprise repository to enhance the stability and reliability of database schema migrations, focusing on the access_logs table. Using Ruby and database schema management techniques, addressed issues that could cause migration errors by implementing idempotent table creation with conditional logic and disabling the default id column where necessary. These changes ensured that deployments remained safe and repeatable across environments, reducing operational risk and preventing unintended schema changes. The work prioritized backend robustness over new feature development, resulting in improved data integrity and more reliable analytics and auditing capabilities for the access_logs schema without introducing user-facing updates.
