During the month, contributed to the OpenVoxProject/puppet repository by developing and delivering a D-Bus integration feature for Puppet’s inter-process communication. This work focused on enhancing Puppet automation workflows by enabling robust communication with system services through D-Bus, thereby improving reliability and laying the foundation for future extensibility. The technical approach involved back end development using Ruby and Ruby on Rails, with an emphasis on commit-driven iteration. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, and the primary achievement centered on expanding Puppet’s capabilities for automation and integration with external processes via improved IPC mechanisms.
