Worked on the OpenVoxProject/puppet repository to enhance test suite stability by addressing unreliable test behavior caused by real AWS API interactions. Focused on isolating AWS dependencies within the Ruby-based Facter library, implementing a missing EC2 API stub to prevent actual EC2 calls during local and CI test runs. This approach resolved a known issue with leaked EC2 requests, directly improving test reliability and reducing flakiness. Leveraged skills in API integration, Ruby, and testing to streamline the development workflow, resulting in faster feedback loops and increased productivity for the team without introducing new features during the reported period.
