Worked on enhancing OpenStack Freezer deployment configuration within the rackerlabs/genestack repository, focusing on improving reliability, security, and maintainability for scalable deployments. Delivered updates by adding missing configurations and introducing new secrets to support secure OpenStack operations. Updated the Helm chart version to align with current deployment requirements and removed outdated documentation to streamline onboarding and guidance. Refactored deployment scripts using Shell and YAML, emphasizing better configuration management, automation, and reproducibility. The work addressed configuration gaps and reduced onboarding time, supporting more efficient and repeatable deployments while leveraging DevOps practices, Kubernetes orchestration, and scripting expertise throughout the process.
