Worked on enhancing localization for the Mattermost Desktop application by updating Italian translations in the mattermost/desktop repository. Focused on improving usability for Italian-speaking users, the work involved translating 283 out of 309 strings, reaching 91.5% coverage. Utilized Weblate as the primary localization tool and managed translation data in JSON format, ensuring consistency and integration with the existing contributor workflow. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary objective was to strengthen localization readiness for upcoming releases. The contribution supports broader internationalization efforts and demonstrates proficiency in managing translation workflows and localization tooling within collaborative environments.
