Worked on the mattermost/desktop repository to deliver full Brazilian Portuguese localization for the desktop application, translating 309 interface strings to support native-language user experiences for the Brazilian market. Utilized Weblate to manage the internationalization workflow, ensuring seamless integration of translated content into the existing codebase. The approach emphasized disciplined commit practices and alignment with the project’s release plan, enhancing accessibility and expanding the product’s reach. Demonstrated proficiency in localization processes, codebase integration, and collaborative tooling. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary focus on feature delivery and improving market readiness through targeted language support.
