Worked on the RIT-SE-Senior-Project repository to enhance the stability of sandbox deployments by addressing compatibility issues with legacy peer dependencies. Focused on DevOps practices, the developer updated the deployment script to include the --legacy-peer-deps flag during npm installation, ensuring smoother integration with older dependencies and reducing deployment failures. Using bash and shell scripting, they validated the fix across multiple environments, which helped prevent recurring sandbox issues related to peer dependency resolution. This targeted bug fix improved the reliability of the deployment process and reduced onboarding friction for legacy projects, contributing to a more robust and maintainable development workflow.
