Worked on enhancing the governance and transparency of the Government of Ireland Design System by introducing a publiccode.yml file to the ogcio/govie-ds repository. Focused on open source development and documentation, the contribution detailed system features, intended audience, and maintenance contacts using YAML, supporting clearer ownership and facilitating external review. The approach emphasized traceability, with a single, auditable commit that established a reproducible documentation process. This work laid the foundation for ongoing compliance and governance updates, making it easier for external contributors and procurement teams to assess and onboard. The effort demonstrated attention to structured documentation and open governance practices.
