Anna focused on comprehensive Dutch localization for the OsmAnd and OsmAnd-iOS repositories, enhancing accessibility for Dutch-speaking users. She delivered full Dutch UI coverage in OsmAnd and updated measurement terminology and widget descriptions in OsmAnd-iOS, achieving over 95% translation coverage. Leveraging Swift and XML, Anna integrated translations using Weblate, which streamlined contributor workflows and ensured consistency across both projects. Her work addressed onboarding and usability challenges by making the apps more approachable for Dutch users. While no bugs were fixed during this period, Anna’s contributions demonstrated depth in localization engineering and improved the user experience through targeted language support.
