Worked on the Homebrew/homebrew-core repository to restore VPNaaS command functionality in the OpenStack CLI after a dependency removal disrupted user workflows. Addressed this by reintroducing the python-neutronclient as a PyPI extrapackage, updating related package versions, and aligning packaging steps with the latest brew update-python-resources process. Added a regression test to ensure ongoing VPNaaS command availability and prevent future breakages. This work involved CLI development and package management using Ruby, focusing on maintaining compatibility with evolving dependencies. The contribution resolved a tracked issue and preserved critical CLI features for users relying on OpenStack’s VPNaaS capabilities.
