Worked on enhancing localization in the basecamp/omarchy repository by implementing Icelandic locale formatting for the waybar clock, directly improving the user experience for Icelandic users. The solution involved updating configuration files using JSONC and applying front end development skills to ensure accurate time display according to local conventions. This feature was delivered through a traceable commit, supporting the project’s broader globalization efforts and laying groundwork for future locale integrations. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the focus remaining on configuration management and feature delivery. The work demonstrated attention to detail in adapting user interfaces for diverse audiences.
