During March 2025, Anil Sunadha focused on stabilizing the build pipeline for the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository, specifically targeting Debian Bullseye while maintaining compatibility with Bookworm. He addressed a critical build failure by pinning setuptools-scm to version 8.1.0, ensuring bdist_wheel compatibility and resolving a ptf-py3 build issue. His work in build engineering and CI/CD, using technologies such as Dockerfile, improved cross-distro consistency and reduced release risks. Although the period involved no new feature development, Anil’s targeted bug fix contributed to smoother future releases by enhancing CI reliability and minimizing distribution-specific blockers in the build process.
