Developed a comprehensive Voice Chat Demo Application for the microsoft/semantic-kernel repository, focusing on end-to-end voice-enabled interaction within a .NET console environment. The solution integrated microphone input with voice activity detection, speech-to-text processing, semantic chat flow, text-to-speech synthesis, and real-time audio playback. Leveraging C# and TPL Dataflow, the application streamed responses asynchronously, enabling interactive, streaming conversations. This work demonstrated full-stack development skills, API integration, and asynchronous programming, while showcasing interoperability between audio processing components and backend chat logic. The project provided a practical demonstration of voice-first AI capabilities, serving as a reference for both customers and fellow developers.
October 2025 performance summary for microsoft/semantic-kernel: Delivered a comprehensive Voice Chat Demo Application showcasing end-to-end voice-enabled interaction. The console demo wires microphone input through Voice Activity Detection (VAD), Speech-to-Text (STT), a Semantic Kernel-powered chat flow, Text-to-Speech (TTS), and real-time audio playback, streaming responses via TPL Dataflow to create an interactive experience. This work advances the platform's capabilities for voice-first AI interactions and serves as a practical demo for customers and developers.
