Worked on the Automattic/jetpack repository to address analytics tracking for the wpadmin-dashboard-widget, focusing on improving the accuracy of event attribution within the admin dashboard. Delivered a targeted bug fix by updating the tracking context in both PHP and JavaScript, ensuring that analytics events are consistently and correctly attributed across backend and frontend components. This synchronization reduced attribution drift and enhanced the reliability of dashboard analytics data. The work leveraged backend and frontend development skills, resulting in improved data quality for widget metrics and supporting more accurate reporting, which enables better product decisions for the Jetpack admin experience moving forward.
