Worked on upgrading the Harness TI agent lite-engine within the drone-runners/drone-runner-aws repository, focusing on updating default URIs to ensure the agent consistently uses the latest lite-engine version. This feature was implemented in Go and leveraged skills in CI/CD and configuration management to align the upgrade with established release processes. The approach emphasized traceability by providing clear commit messaging and release tagging, resulting in an auditable and reproducible upgrade path. The work improved stability and future upgrade readiness for the agent, ensuring compatibility with evolving infrastructure requirements while maintaining a clean and maintainable configuration for ongoing development and deployment.
