
Worked on the pkp/ojs repository to deliver a comprehensive Norwegian Bokmål localization of the Open Journal Systems user interface. Focused on translating editor, theme, and default interface strings, the work addressed 98.6% of editor strings, 92.3% of theme strings, and achieved full coverage of default strings. Leveraged PO files and Weblate to manage the translation workflow, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the UI. This localization effort improved accessibility and usability for Norwegian-speaking users, closing previous gaps in the platform’s internationalization. Demonstrated skills in software development, localization, and translation, with all changes tracked through collaborative Git-based commits.
