Delivered Brazilian Portuguese localization for the pkp/ojs repository, covering the user interface, email templates, and installer messages. Focused on consolidating and standardizing pt-BR translation strings using Weblate, with 13 commits to ensure consistency and maintainability. Established a repeatable localization workflow and governance model to support ongoing updates and reduce future localization debt. Applied skills in internationalization, localization, and translation management, working primarily with PO files and a Git-based workflow. The work improved the Brazilian user experience and facilitated smoother onboarding for editors and authors, directly supporting broader adoption and more accessible content for Portuguese-speaking users.
