During March 2026, contributed to the spring-projects/spring-boot repository by delivering a Kafka JSON Processing Enhancement focused on integrating Jackson 3 for improved JSON handling. This work involved updating Kafka configuration to utilize Jackson 3 serializers and deserializers, addressing compatibility and reducing serialization errors in production Spring Boot applications. The implementation demonstrated proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka, with careful attention to code quality through signed-off commits and code reviews.
