Worked on the catppuccin/nix repository to enhance the CI/CD process by experimenting with GitHub Actions workflows. Introduced a feature that updated the workflow to use the default token for repository checkout, aiming to streamline continuous integration. After observing stability concerns, carefully rolled back the change to maintain CI reliability, demonstrating a thoughtful approach to risk mitigation and change management. All modifications were implemented using YAML and leveraged CI/CD best practices. Documented the decision-making process clearly through pull requests, ensuring transparency and traceability. The work focused on maintaining CI health while exploring improvements in automation and workflow efficiency.
