Worked on the catppuccin/nix repository to enhance theme configuration for the Fish shell, focusing on improving user experience and maintainability. Developed logic in Nix to default the Latte flavor to Mocha, providing a clear warning when Latte is explicitly selected, which clarified theme behavior and reduced potential confusion. Integrated dynamic theming support to align with Home Manager configurations, ensuring consistent appearance across different environments. This approach streamlined onboarding for new users and reduced support overhead. The work demonstrated skills in Nix, configuration management, and theme development, addressing cross-environment consistency and contributing to a more predictable and maintainable codebase.
