Leveraging configuration management and DevOps skills, implemented changes in YAML to extend the code_lockdown.yml configuration, integrating DS team backup support and enabling automated notifications. This approach centralized backup-related policy enforcement and improved visibility into backup events, reducing operational risk and supporting incident response. The work emphasized maintainability by consolidating updates into a single commit, ensuring efficient configuration management. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and process improvement.
