Developed a configurable charging mode feature for the evcc-io/evcc repository, enabling users to select between normal and smart charging for Smart EVSE devices. The work focused on backend development using Go and YAML, integrating API communication to enhance hardware interaction and configuration management. Addressed reliability by improving status reporting and keep-alive mechanisms, reducing interruptions during charging sessions and supporting more stable operation for users and service partners. The implementation strengthened the integration between software configuration and network reliability, positioning the product for broader adoption of smart charging strategies and demonstrating practical application of Go-based backend and API integration skills.
