Worked on enhancing Quality of Service capabilities for the Nokia IXR7220-D4-36D platform by delivering a buffer pool size upgrade within the sonic-net/sonic-buildimage repository. Focused on buffer management and network configuration, the work involved increasing the ingress lossless buffer pool from 61,293,228 to 84,219,120, enabling support for more advanced QoS profiles and improved traffic management. Leveraged Jinja2 for configuration templating to ensure seamless integration with existing platform workflows. This update strengthened the platform’s readiness for higher QoS demands, addressing evolving network requirements and contributing to more reliable and flexible Quality of Service on the Nokia D4 platform.
