Worked on optimizing the CI/CD pipeline for the wiz-sec/charts repository, focusing on improving build speed and resource management. Migrated the CircleCI configuration to use self-hosted runners, which streamlined the workflow and enhanced efficiency. The technical approach involved configuring YAML-based CircleCI files, integrating with ECR for container management, and tuning resource_class settings for better allocation. Upgraded the path-filtering orb to leverage new features and stability improvements, while also removing unused Golang executors to simplify maintenance. Demonstrated skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and Docker, delivering a more maintainable and performant pipeline without introducing new bugs during the development period.
