Liran Barton optimized the CI/CD pipeline for the wiz-sec/charts repository by migrating CircleCI configurations to self-hosted runners, targeting faster builds and improved resource management. Leveraging skills in DevOps and Docker, Liran reconfigured executors and resource classes to better align with project needs, while integrating ECR for streamlined image handling. The work included upgrading the path-filtering orb to enhance pipeline stability and feature support, as well as removing unused Golang executors to simplify maintenance. The changes, implemented primarily in YAML, focused on maintainability and efficiency, resulting in a more robust and manageable CI/CD process without introducing new bugs.
