In November 2024, Basti contributed to the castacks/AirStack repository by implementing an MIT License file, addressing the need for clear usage rights and legal compliance within the project. This work focused on open-source governance, ensuring that contributors and users understood the terms under which the code could be used and distributed. Basti utilized Git for version control and markdown for documentation, integrating the license directly into the repository to streamline onboarding and clarify liabilities. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the addition of explicit licensing laid a foundation for broader adoption and improved project transparency for future development.
