Worked on the powerhome/playbook repository to automate major dependency upgrades by enabling Renovate to propose updates for critical components such as ci-kubed. Focused on configuration management and DevOps practices, the approach centered on reducing technical debt and manual maintenance by streamlining the upgrade workflow. Leveraging YAML for configuration, the solution improved the project’s security and compatibility by ensuring timely evaluation and adoption of major version changes. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, as the primary objective was to enhance maintainability and risk reduction through automation, supporting faster and more reliable future releases for the codebase.
