Worked on the remindmodel/remind repository to enhance documentation and metadata quality over a two-month period. Delivered a feature that embedded explicit scientific references for the clinker process CO2 emission factor, improving traceability and audit readiness for emission accounting. Applied best practices in documentation and scientific referencing, using YAML and GAMS to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and reduce ambiguity for downstream users. Additionally, performed metadata management by updating author attribution in CITATION.cff, supporting data quality for citation tooling. The work focused on non-functional improvements that strengthen compliance, transparency, and maintainability without altering the software’s runtime behavior or outputs.
March 2025: Focused on metadata hygiene and accuracy improvements within the remindmodel/remind repository. Completed a non-functional but important metadata cleanup to ensure correct attribution in CITATION.cff.
